On a mild afternoon in the spring this giant oak reflects glowingly his wisdom on the land below. Originally painted on site at Turkey Bend this work was revised in studio to enhance the majesty of the stalwart tree prominently featured in the image.

Original painting was sold at auction to benefit Caritas of Austin, a non-profit organization housing those who have not been able to house themselves without assistance.
